Sized for 15/0 OR 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. Not tested for other sizes or brands of beads.

9 colors of 15/0 or 11/0 round seed beads. Approximately 4500 beads total.

Eyes: 11/0 round seed beads if using 15/0, or 8/0 round seed beads if using 11/0

Skills needed: Peyote stitch in the round, stepping up at the end of rows, plus flat odd count peyote stitch, plus a small amount of brick stitch, and herringbone stitch for the knitted cap. Ability to start peyote stitch without a starter strip. Ability to follow a detailed word chart.

Intermediate level if you have some experience with the skills listed above.

Finished size approximately 3.75" (9.5 cm) tall, made in 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads. OR Approximately 5" (12.7 cm) tall, if made in 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. Height may vary if other brands/sizes of beads are used.

This is a detailed pattern that requires close attention to increases and decreases to maintain the shape.

The word chart is much more detailed than usual to keep the shape going perfectly, but includes a detailed explanation of terms and abbreviations used.
