Pattern for a 3-dimensional teenage girl on skis, wearing a coat with a hood, and her helmet. Could be made into a boy with color changes and a different haircut.

Designed to stand on her skis, holding ski poles.

Detailed instructions including word charts and photographs illustrating progress along the way

Sized for 15/0 OR 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. Not tested for other sizes or brands of beads.

11 colors of 15/0 or 11/0 round seed beads. Approximately 4000 beads total.

Eyes: 11/0 round seed beads if using 15/0, or 8/0 round seed beads if using 11/0

Ski poles use a headpin or piece of wire inside the beads.

Skills needed: Peyote stitch in the round, stepping up at the end of rows, plus flat odd count peyote stitch. Ability to start peyote stitch without a starter strip. Ability to follow a detailed word chart.

Intermediate level if you have some experience with the skills listed above.

Finished size approximately 3.25" (8.2 cm) tall with 2" (5 cm) skis, when made in 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads. OR Approximately 4 3/8" (11 cm) tall with 2 5/8" (6.7 cm) skis, if made in 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. Height may vary if other brands/sizes of beads are used.

This is a detailed pattern that requires close attention to increases and decreases to maintain the shape.

The word chart is much more detailed than usual to keep the shape going perfectly, but includes a detailed explanation of terms and abbreviations used.
