Design uses both Peyote stitch and Herringbone Stitch

Detailed instructions including word charts, detail diagrams, and lots of photographs illustrating progress along the way

11 pages, including the cover and extra instructions on the herringbone stitch wings and tail

Sized for 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads, OR 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. Slightly larger than the White Dove, with different wing and tail design.

6 colors of 15/0 or 11/0 round seed beads

Round black glass beads for the eyes:3 mm for 15/0 or 4 mm for 11/0

Skills needed: circular Peyote stitch, stepping up at the end of rows, plus flat Herringbone Stitch. Ability to start peyote stitch without a starter strip. Ability to follow a detailed word chart.

NOT a beginner's pattern.

Finished size if made in 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads: approximately 3 3/8" (8.5 cm) from top of head to tip of tail and a wingspan of 3.75" (9.5 cm)

Finished size if made in 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads: approximately 4.5" (11.5 cm) from top of head to tip of tail and a wingspan of 4.75" (12 cm)

The word chart is much more detailed than usual to keep the shape going perfectly.
